About This Blog

How did my version of Islamic Articles begin? I’m a “filer”, I like to collect things and organize them. I also like to do research on Islam when someone asks a related question. This happens often as I am the owner of a group called Women Learning Islam. I used to search for the answer on the web and got tired of looking for Islamic articles or fatawa in different locations. So I developed the idea of collecting all of the articles I found and categorizing them in alphabetical order on my website, World Of Islam. In this way, I could just click on a specific subject and forward the answer I found there pronto. If I didn’t find the answer on my website, I would still search for it on the web and then add it to my collection. Its been growing that way for the past nine years masha’Allah.

About three months ago, the Islamic articles were taking up too much space and Netfirms web hosting only allows 25MB free. Instead of paying for an upgrade, a friend suggested I post them to a blog. I decided on WordPress and here I am now!

There are various Islamic articles, fatawa and personal stories. I try to make sure they are as authentic as possible. Nonetheless, some are missing the author and/or source. If you recognize one as your own or can provide the author and source, please let me know so that I can give credit where it is due. As for my own articles listed under Recent Posts, please do not post the entire article on a website, blog, group or forum. Instead only post the link for each article.
